Brick Road Coffee

Brick Road Coffee is a queer-owned café in Tempe, Arizona, founded by husbands Gabe Hagen and Jesse Shank with a simple goal: create a space where people feel like they belong. Built in response to their own experiences growing up without inclusive environments, the shop has become a gathering place for LGBTQ+ people, sober community members, allies, and neighbors.

More than just coffee, Brick Road is about connection—proof that even in places where visibility can feel uncertain, community can be built intentionally.
